Therapy
At Talk Theraplay, we believe in a combination of standardized and informal diagnostic testing and only provide treatment that is backed by evidence based research. We cover a large variety of pathologies but also have an established network of professionals that we can refer to, to ensure your case is being well managed. We will work with you closely to create a plan of care that works for both the clinician and the client, whether it be fully online via teletherapy or a combination of face to face and remote sessions. Our goal is to help our clients progress from their current challenges in a flexible but scientific way. We also understand that consistent therapy is not always feasible so we are happy to provide thorough evaluations and home programs that allow the client to follow an independent exercise program with the support of parents or caretakers. Our customized playkits are also a great alternative if traditional therapy is not an option.

A typical course of treatment involves a 60-90 minute evaluation with full report findings followed by a series of treatment sessions that are recommended 2-3x a week. If your case is mild we can accommodate fewer sessions or vice versa for more severe cases. The duration of treatment varies from case to case and diagnosis, but we tend to see results in 1-3 months.
